Audacity failed to read from a file in C:

Post by EmilyS » Sun Jan 27, 2019 9:14 pm

Hi -- I'm getting the Audacity failed to read from a file in C: error. I'm using Audacity 2.2.2 on Windows. I've read a few of these threads and tried the common troubleshooting advice, including: copying the tracks into a new file, saving to the desktop, saving without any special characters in the title, rebooting and shutting down the computer, and still no luck. Thanks for any other ideas you can provide!

Is the problem with one specific project?
Has the project been stored on a "cloud" (such as "OneDrive")?
Where is the project currently stored?
