Hello,
I just installed Audacity on my Windows 10 for the first time after tweaking some security settings.
I am wondering if I screwed something up prior to my install.
I tried to record for the first time and received an
"error code:-9999 unanticipated host error"
I rebooted the system to see if that fixed anything to no avail.
Does anybody have a clue what I need to do?
Thanks,
Ed Arnold

First thing to check is that you have give Audacity permission to use recording device. See: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=100117
Next thing if that doesn't fix it, is to give us more information about the equipment you are using and what you are trying to do.
