hi
I just recorded a 2 min mp3 file by playing a song on U tube and recording it
live with audacity

I saved the mp3 file
Later I opened it with audacity and the whole window seems frozen
it wont play nothing seems to work..... the cursor will appear I can move it
around but no chance of playing the short 2 min file

Just tried a different approach.... instead of clicking on the file and open with audacity

I opened up audacity and then hit file top left then open
and I opened the mp3 this way ...

Bingo the file played OK !

Does the song play in Windows Media?
