Can't move audio position without changing loop region

Post by mesteren12 » Fri Dec 14, 2018 10:16 pm

My version is Audacity 2.3.0. I can start repeatably playback by pressing shift+space, but when I try to drag the position during playback a loop region is introduced. How to move the audio position while preserving the entire loop region?

You can't move audio whilst it's playing in Audacity.
You have to stop playback, then you can use time-shift.
