dlls problem

Help for Audacity 2.x.x on Windows.

and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".


Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the 1.2.x and 1.3.x forums.

ok i fixed it i just downloaded an older version of audacity aka version 2.2.1 :D

Using an old version was going to be my next suggestion, but NOT version 2.2.1.
A bug has been discovered in Audacity 2.2.1 which can cause data loss if you overwrite the project using "Save Project As..." (rather than the normal ""Save Project...")

Audacity 2.2.1 should be OK so long as you do not use "Save Project As" to update (overwrite) an existing project.
