dlls problem

Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

dlls problem
ok so i am getting mad rn so i changed from windows 7 to windows 8.1 pro and i installed audacity i tried launching it, it gave me a dll error i installed that dll and then i get a different dll error i install that one also and another dll error it keeps on going can someone help i don't know how to fix this and i am getting really salty rn

Audacity 2.3.0 requires "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 " which may not be present on old Windows systems. You can get it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/downloa ... x?id=48145

Audacity is not installed correctly.
Remove all instances of Audacity from your system, then re-download the .EXE installer from: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/ and reinstall by running the .EXE installer.

yes i think it is fully updated how can i check? it doesn't ask me for any updates
