Hello guys,

I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how to take an acapella part of one song and put it into another please?

Thank you.

If you import two audio files into the same project ("File menu > Import > Audio"), then they will form two tracks, one above the other and will play at the same time. You will probably need to reduce the volume of the tracks so that the mixed level does not cause distortion (you can use the track "Gain" controls: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/aud ... .html#gain).

When you export the project ("File menu > Export > ..."), the tracks will be mixed down to a single exported file.
