When I connect my mobile to my laptop via aux in my laptop’s stereo mic input, and my 2.1 speaker in laptop’s headphone out jack, and play a song in my mobile, the song plays exactly like when my speakers are connected directly to my phone.
But when I record a song in audacity, it doesn’t capture bass.
The bass is muted in the recording.
Wonder why?
Because you’re actually recording your laptop tinny, built-in microphone, not the music feed.
Check the Audacity recording device in the device toolbar.
