I have tried everything on here to solve this problem and I still can not figure it out when I try to record on my Windows 10 I am getting Error opening recording device. Error Code -9999 Unanticipated Host error.

I have tried all three hosts, the undub and everything I have seen in here. It is allowed to use my microphone. I just need help fixing this.

This may be related to the now-common Windows microphone problem.

What are you trying to record?
Which version of Windows?
Which version of Audacity? (look in "Help > About Audacity")

What sort of microphone are you using?
I can see that you have a Realtek device and a USB device - what is the USB device?

Is that the one that you are trying to use?
Does that have a "mini-jack" connector that plugs into your (laptop?) computer?

What about playback? How do you listen to sounds on your computer?

It has a 3.5 pin jack on it and I listen to sound on the headset or a set of headphones. I am trying to use the Fefine

Is your computer a laptop?
I'm trying to get a clear picture of what equipment you have so that I can give relevant guidance.
