This is driving me mad now. Every time I upload a 2 hour recording to audacity, if I try to do anything, it just freezes for about a minute. Whether I try to cut, amplify, zoom in, zoom out. When your sat there, 2 minutes is a long time to wait!
I’m on Windows 10 and this is a brand new laptop I’m using with a terabyte of memory so no problems there. I never had this problem with the older version of audacity?
I’ve seen your suggestions to other people but other auditing programmes don’t have this problem when handling a 2 hour recording?
