Proton 740 Cassette Tape Deck
I am trying to record cassette tapes to my desktop computer
I plugged the RCA jacks from the LINE OUT of the tape deck to the line in 3.5 mm jack
The recording device in Audacity set to “Line In (Realtek High Definition)”
Tried all three audio hosts (MME, Windows direct Sound and Windows WASAPI)
I get “Error Opening Sound Device” I also tried changing project Rate from 44100 HZ to 16000 Hz
Is the Microsoft I/O driver causing the problem? It will not allow me to update the driver to Realtek.
Any help would be appreciated.
