I have recently upgraded from v2.1.1 to v2.2.2 on a Windows 10 platform and the track labelling now seems inconsistent. In the 2.1.1 version, I could hit Ctrl-B or Ctrl-M to enter track markers and the focus would stay on the track label ready for typing in the label name. In version 2.2.2, this happens with Ctrl-B, but not with Ctrl-M (which, annoyingly, is the one I use most often). After hitting Ctrl-M, the focus returns to the main window and anything typed is effectively a command for Audacity. Is this a bug?
Yes, it’s a bug. It has been fixed for the next release (Audacity 2.3.0) which is scheduled for release in September.
