Help for Audacity on Windows.

This forum is for Audacity on Windows.
Please state which version of Windows you are using,
and the exact three-section version number of Audacity from "Help menu > About Audacity".
Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at
https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.
The old forums for those versions are now closed, but you can still read the archives of the
1.2.x and
1.3.x forums.

The control for the microphone and speaker used to have a wide range for adjustment. Now my speaker control is extremely limited. At first I thought it was the size of the window but I have tried several settings.

I do not know when this changed but it would have to have been extremely recent.
Did I click somewhere to make this change?
I doubt it was in an update.

Yes, that seemed to have fixed it. I wonder how it got shortened to begin with.....

I've seen something similar occur where there are different versions of Audacity on the computer.

I was testing a special release of Audacity to see if the timer had been repaired.
It happened at the same time.
Mischief managed.....
