Two Tracks

Hello. I am a very minor user of Audacity. I using to post a podcast. Since I cannot figure out how to delete portions of the file I crop it in Adobe Audition first, save the file, open it in Audacity to convert to mp3. However, somehow I did something wrong and, instead of seeing one track I now see two. How do I return to one track?

Two blue waves? Does it say Stereo on the left panel?

Or do you have two completely different blue waves?
