Is there a preferred "Audio Host" mode when recording stereo audio using a USB-connected Focusrite or Behringer analog-to-digital converter? For this question, assume that the appropriate driver is installed for each converter and that it is selected as the Recording Device.

WASAPI is the newest and MME is the oldest. If WASAPI works I'd use it. Here is some information I ran-across awhile back.
