This may be related to a change Microsoft made to Windows' Privacy settings. Depending on how your device appears to Windows, this topic may help: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=100117

I'm having an issue with connecting my Yamaha
What Yamaha? How is it connected? I assume it's a keyboard with a USB connection?

Some keyboards are USB MIDI only (no USB audio) and Audacity is not a MIDI application.

I use the headphone connection and split it between a large sound system and a connection that I record. My Yamaha keyboard does not send sound down the USB connection, It's MIDI-only,
