This poster made the above forum suggestion a different thread - I transferred a copy here.
I note that you can set your user preferences ( User Control Panel > Preferences ) so that you can be emailed when new PMs arrive - but I can see no notification ability for updates to your posted thread.
Click the “Subscribe thread” button at the bottom of the screen, or the “Notify me when a reply is posted” button below the message composition window.
