New Smiley

Post by kozikowski » Mon Oct 05, 2009 8:37 pm

How do I make a smiley? Or more to the point, include one that I make?

I know how to make favicons (badly). Is there a smiley formula?

These Smiles are installed as part of the forum software:
:D :) ;) :( :o  :? 8-) :x :P      :!: :?:   :| :geek: :ugeek:

Each of them has an associated code so that when the forum software sees the code in a message, it replaces the text code with a graphic.
These are the codes that are in use.

Code: Select all

 :D :) ;) :( :o  :? 8-) :x :P      :!: :?:   :| :geek: :ugeek:
Only the forum administrator has access to changing these Smilies.

If however you have an image (example - smilie.gif) that you wish to insert into a message, you can put that image onto your web space (or anywhere on the internet) and display it using the "Img" tag (See the Image

Yes, and unlike the one I posted, they should have a transparent background.
