While searching for a voice recording app, I clicked on a lot of websites. One of the things I was looking for was an active user forum. I have found active user forums not only far better that official tech support most of the time, but also a reliable indicator of the value of the product.
When I got to https://www.audacityteam.org/, I almost keep going because I didn’t see a Forum link under the Help tab, the most logical place IMHO, or even under Get Involved.
I just happened to see it way down at the bottom of the 4th screen.
I strongly suggest that it be added to the list under Help. And maybe also under Get Involved.
I’m not sure that we need more links to the forum - search engines don’t like too many links to the same URL from one website as they consider it spam.

In my opinion, all of those forum links are secondary. I would instantly sacrifice any or all of them for one under Help. An active user forum, which this one is, despite is quirks, is a major attraction for many prospective users/customers. It should be prominently advertised. As I said, I almost did not look any further when I didn’t see it under Help, which is where it is on most sites – there or under Support.
