Post by Gale Andrews » Sun Sep 01, 2013 12:49 pm

Release candidate 1 (rc1) for Audacity 2.0.4 is available for testing:
http://audacity.googlecode.com/files/au ... rc1.tar.xz .

Extract the archive, cd into the root of the extracted folder and run ./configure then make as usual.

Steps for compiling on Debian, Ubuntu or related distributions are here:
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Compi ... ers#simple .

Please reply in this topic to report any problems you may encounter.

I don't know if you were able to follow this thread...

http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 40&t=74429

But it seems to me a known bug that damages the Audacity high quality output is pretty serious.
