Hi all !
i imported a music track it's displayed as a waveform with all the information i need to know , that are related to this file, and when i pressed the button " play " the cursor just cross the track so fast, making a stange screeching noise at a high speed ... can't listen to this track...can anybody help and tell me what i'd have to do to solve this prob?

You may have a sound file that Audacity doesn't recognize. Install the FFMpeg add-on software and see if that helps.

This is also the place you should get Audacity 2.1.3. Many tools stop working if you're not in this Audacity version or later.
