Hi!
Is there any way to remove sound from a file? Let´s say the audiofile peaks at 20 (playback level) but I want to save only lower sounds like up to 50 (playback level)?
I´m a newbie!
Answers will be greatly appreciated

Surveillance, right? You need to be able to hear somebody speaking into their cellphone or other party in the middle of a noisy street or other difficult environment?
The short answer is no. We can't split apart a performance into individual actors and sounds. Once the interference is louder than the performance, that's the end of the world.
That and Audacity can't take part in any law enforcement or dispute resolution.
