converting to MP3

I want to export a file from Audacity in a compressed mode, mp3. File offers Export As MP3? and I say yes. But then I'm told it needs the lame_enc.dll file to do so, would you like the program to locate the file? I say yes, it locates the file, but in a box that only offers Open and then says it can't be opened. I've Searched, the file is indeed in Program Files. How do I get Audacity to recognize that file? Any help would be appreciated.

It is recommended that you use the "official" Audacity build of Lame (the latest versions of Audacity are known to have various problems with other builds). You can download it by following the links on this page (instructions for correct installation are also provided) http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php? ... stallation
