Audacity Forum

I keep having to adjust the volume when playing iTunes and different songs have a different volume.
Can Audacity be used to equalize a playlist? Alternatively, can anyone recommend a program that will do this?

Audacity can (sort of) but it's hard work that way - rather use the functionality in iTunes that does that for you. Go to Edit > Preferences >Playback in iTunes and check the box that says "Sound Check"
