Audacity with Rewire

Post by braillle » Wed Dec 17, 2008 10:40 pm

Is it possible to use Rewire with Audacity? I don't think you can, but I'm new to Audacity and was wondering if anybody on planet earth knew of a plugin or a way around it.

If Rewire isn't compatible with Audacity, is there a program (like Rewire) out there that is compatible with Audacity?

I want to dump all of my Reason tracks into Audacity. I know I can export each separate instrument as a loop and import them into Audacity, but that will take forever and I'm lazy.

 try typing the word "rewire" into the search box at the top of the page if that's not too much effort

I already used the search option. a guy talked about a program called Jack for Linux, but that's it. the forums I found on google said they were not compatible, but those were old posts so I figured I would ask and see if anything new was out there.

so far I haven't found a thing, but thanks for the help steve. really.

The "guy" talking about JACK for Linux (and Windows at some time in the future) was me. It was posted on Fri Dec 05, 2008 4:36 pm. As far as I know there have been no significant advances in the last 2 weeks. ;)
