Hi!
I have recorded 2 sections of one mp3 song. I need to join it .
NB* They overlap each other. So I have to join it at the correct position.

You need to get the two sections recorded as separate tracks - then you can use the Time-Shift tool to move the tracks around independently so they line up as you want.
When you export to WAV/MP3 Audacity will mix and render the multiple tracks to a single stereo pair.
