voice removal - karryokee - karaoke

Post by whomper » Tue Jun 22, 2010 4:46 pm

I noticed that many realteks have a voice removal function

look for the karaoke symbol to toggle it on and off
and the accompaning adjustment -4 to +4 range (no idea what it does)

might be worth a try if you want to remove vocals

Is the effect applied when recording, or only on playback?

dont know cant say
never used it

i just observe that it is there

i would presume that it tries to remove voice
when you are doing playback
andor
stereomix so you can overdub your singing

but
maybe it works if you are recording a track
so you would have the music only

someone with realtek who cares about karoke should try it
i have no docs or help for my realtek
