Copyright question..

I dont think is the right topic for this, but couldn't find an appropriate forum section. I have used some demonstration samples from audacity to make a simple beat for a short video. I need word from audacity that it is not copyrighted. How can I get a reply? Emails seem to only be oneway.
Any help would be appreciated.

Demonstration samples? From Audacity?

Audacity doesn't come with any audio files, where did you get them?
