help with importing mp3s

help with importing mp3s

i tried to import a song into audacity, and it imported fine. when i played it, it just played super fast like the whole song in 1 second and it sound kind of like a beeping robot noise. whats wrong and how do i fix it?

That sounds like you've tried to play a file which is in an audio format that your version of Audacity (1.2?) is unable to play ... http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 24&p=81230
