Applying effects to a single channel?

Post by halppls » Wed Apr 14, 2010 1:42 pm

Hello, good people.

This is probably obvious, but I can't see how to do it.

I have laid down two guitar tracks. When I go to 'effects' then apply and effect, it applies it to both of these tracks. I only want to apply it to one of them.

How do I do this?

To select just one of the tracks click on the little panel on the left of the desired track where it says "32-bit float", immediately below the name of the track.

The background of waveform goes dark when selected.

Effects will only be applied to the selected track(s).

To select all tracks press the "crtl" and "a" keys simultaneously.
