Re: How can one person sound as a complete choir?

I was having the same issues as you, but I think I've found a fairly successful way to turn one person (i.e. me) into what sounds like a choir. Mine is a six-person choir, but you could always go for less or more. For this to work, you have to have very basic music theory knowledge. You can hear the results in the included mp3.
1. Sing song like normal.
2. Locate the first note of your song on the piano (Example was F)
This will be your chord note start
3. Find the other notes to the chord (This is where music theory comes in handy. My example chord is F which consists of F, A, and C)
4. On a new track, sing song again, but this time your start note will be the next one in line (Example would be A)
5. Repeat step four with final note (Example would be C)
6. Copy and paste all three tracks
7. On your copies (tracks 4-6), go into Effects/Change Pitch and set it where it says
From: To:
(Key) # (Key) # Lower
(Example: F#/Gb 4 to F#/Gb 3)
And there's you a six-person choir. If your voice is lower, you may be able to go up a number too (F#/Gb 4 to F#/Gb 5. If you sing very high, you may be able to go another step lower (F#/Gb 4 to F#/Gb 2)
Hope this is helpful. It's not as perfect as an actual choir, but it can get the job accomplished.
