Remove other sound and extract speech?

Hello. I'm a newbie and it's my first time using Audacity. I recorded an audio file from a videogame, I'm trying to make a youtube video you see. I recorded it line-in from the TV and I think it's stereo.

I used other sound editors but I read Audacity is the best one to separate sound. Is it possible and if it is how easy/hard it is?

"Remove other sound and extract speech?" (see the title of the post).

There is no simple way to do this. See this post: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 118#p77118

speech is a sound
but what is the *other* sound
makes a big difference in whether this can be done easily or at all

Nobody can actually separate individual instruments or voices from a mixed performance. Under some very tightly restricted circumstances with a perfect quality (uncompressed -- non-MP3) stereo show, you might be able to do some vocal or instrument isolation with one of these tools.
