Hi, I'm trying to find a way to convert the Sony proprietary format .dvf to .wav or .mp3. I tried to import it as raw data, but I'm only getting a long hiss.
I know there is a converter from Sony, but Kaspersky is marking Sony's drivers as a "potentially dangerous" program, and until I figure out what to do about that, I need to find an alternative solution.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do (appropriate raw data settings, for example), short of plugging the recorder itself into the line-in and recording the old-school way?
Thanks in advance!
Import this format as Raw Data?

Re: Import this format as Raw Data?
"Switch" is one program which will convert .dvf files, though it says that not all dvf recorders are supported.
It is a free download from http://www.nch.com.au/switch/
There are probably others too.
