Incomplete Upload

When I upload a .wma file to Audacity, it only loads part of the file.
It is more like less than a second What can be causing the issue?

Audacity doesn't support the WMA format, you'll have to convert the wma file into another format like WAV or flac or MP3 to process it in Audacity.
