Trying to see if Audacity can help at all reconstruct an old recording made on compact cassette from the 1970’s.
I have normalized it to get the levels somewhat more discernible, but there is distortion and perhaps clipping I am not familiar with.
I thought perhaps there is some kind of specialized sophisticated approach to this and there is another program than audacity , but I have used Audacity for years, just downloaded the latest version and am curious.
