Combined 2 songs

Post by mamadada » Tue May 19, 2009 6:29 pm

I followed the instructions for combining 2 songs. Seemed to work. When playing back I get a squeel similar to the "Transformers" noise! What did I do wrong. Exported to .mp3 and also downloaded the lame encoder file.

Screeches or squeals almost always means you tried to play a song type that Audacity doesn't understand. Convert in Super or Switch to WAV before you try to edit. Audacity isn't a very good converter and many songs on the internet now are music types other than MP3.
