TRIMMING edited Regions

Post by RonStreicher » Sat May 16, 2009 9:29 pm

Maybe I have missed something, but I cannot find any way to slightly TRIM the in- or out-points of edited Regions. In other programs (even Garage Band!) this is a simple task of clicking and dragging the end of the Regions to move the edit point earlier or later. I have not found this capacity in Audacity.

If this feature does not exist, it definitely should. If it does, would someone please tell me how to do it.
Thanks

I'm not sure this is the only, or even the correct way to do it, but I simply hit
Select All (Strg+A)
Drag selection borders
Trim (Strg+T)

Maybe there's a more elegant way, but this seems simple enough. No need to clutter up the interface even more in my opinion.
