Vocal editing - looking for preset.

Post by AfterMidnight » Wed Jul 11, 2018 2:33 pm

Hi all.
New person here. ^^
I have one really really cool preset which I did found online.
And I wanna make something similar to it.
If someone would help me with with that preset and editing it, it would be super super cool.
It's for one online project, nothing against the law. xD I wanna stay annonymous on that project, that's why I need to edit vocals.
I would send you clip in PM, with preset settings, and if anyone would be cool to help me with that what to do next.
Original online preset is kinda copyrighted/trademarked, so I need to edit it a little bit I guess.
Thanks. :)
More info into PM.
PS. my system is - Windows 10 - 64 bit.

Voice-changer only provides anonymity in Hollywood movies.
In reality it can be decrypted revealing the identity.
Having text-to-speech software read your script is a better idea,
( but can still give away your identity by the phrases you use ).

I think I will risk with edited vocals.
It's artist kinda thing, so it would bring me only fame which I don't wanna get so. xD
I think I will really really risk with edited vocals. :D

If you give us a link (e.g. YouTube) we may be able to suggest settings.

Sry for not responding for some time. I was absent from internet. Anyway, clips which I like and why are;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUNZax8FuK8 - From this I like anger and distortion of voice. Sounds angry. :D Cool stuff.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CTca6RZLZU - I like mix of distortion and echo. Cool sample.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLkXFepSwU0 - Also, mix of distortion and echo is cool. :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAY88WH0FcU - Echo is amazing, distortion is not soo good. :( But echo is amazing.

I kinda want something like this 4. Cool distortion/anger voice, but with cool echo.

Thanks for any help. :)

Just one more extra note .. I would love to get my sample without changing volume of my voice , which is super super important for me. So no volume change in audacity if possible. Thanks. :)

And yeah, there is no edit options on post.

I also did looked back on this videos, and I noticed most of them are recorded in "angrier" moddified voices, not natural voices before editing. Is this possible to make with natural voice sound, without sounding like Batman? XD

And also, I need something in mix off all this stuff ... Since I'm not sure how the law works in copying other people's work. It would be cool that sample is "inspired by it", and not a "copy cat".

Thank you soo much for help. :)

And if you need sample of my microphone, please let me know, so I can record sample. ;)

Audacity's Nyquist prompt is a much quicker method of doing multiple pitch shifts, e.g. ...

Code: Select all

;version 3
(scale .77 (sim (pitshift s 0.909090 1) (pitshift s 0.769230 1) (pitshift s 0.58823529 1)))
what the code looks like in Nyquist Prompt.png

It's easier for me to follow the guidelines from video.

Now ... any idea how to mix this 4 videos into one?

What to change to get cool voice, but non like this videos. :D
