GT-001

Post by GOdmac » Thu Feb 09, 2017 11:46 am

Hi Guys,

I am trying to use my Boss GT-001 with Audacity. I have the latest driver and am able to select it as my input device, however when I plug my guitar into it, the sound does not register on Audacity.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Does it show up in Windows? Open your Windows control panels and make sure it can see a sound device and its little sound meters bounce when you play. Audacity gets its sound from Windows, not the device.

The appears to be a combined MIDI and Audio interface, so yes, special drivers are required to unscramble that.

Hi Koz,

All I needed to do was to get Audacity to start monitoring ... it was by sheer luck.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
