That's pretty unusual. You're sure there wasn't a software package or driver to let you change it? I have trouble believing somebody made a USB sound card that would only do 32-bit.

now an update i got a new soundcard with 2 different inputs one 4 mike and the other 4 line in.they are seperate inputs.the new card is by siig its the soundwave 7.1 pci card. and im still not getting thoes waves higter than 0.5.anything else i can do?
