Zoom has pretty good tools for recording conversations and even keeping the voices separate so you can do sound production yourself later.
Set up a call with a friend to make sure you know all the tools and settings before you call the governor for an interview.
Trying to do chat voice recordings yourself at home has not had the rest success rate. There’s a crazy number of things that can go wrong.
