A classic HiFi turntable -- no USB -- has RCA cables coming out of the bottom but you can't plug one directly into an amplifier. The sound delivered has intentional distortion in it (RIAA) to make the vinyl pressing process work out better. Place a Photo Preamplifier between the turntable and the amplifier to remove the distortion and boost the sound.
