Recording 3-piece demos (drum machine software??)

Post by ap5567 » Mon May 04, 2009 3:03 am

Hello, I'm new to this and need some help.

I need to record a few 3-piece demos (Guitar, Bass, Drums) for my band to work on.

I know how to record the Guitar and Bass into an Audacity Project. No clue how to get the drums in. I don't have a kit at home, I also don't have a drum machine.

What I want to know is if it is possible to use a software that works as a drum machine and record that into Audacity. If there are more than one, which would be the best (cheapest and simplest to use for an old fart like me)?

My music is mostly blues and classic rock'n roll so I don't require anything fancy. The simpler, the cheaper, the better !!
:D :D :D :D

thanks in advance !!
