Audacity Forum

Several times when recording, when I hit the stop button, instead of stopping it closes the program. It says Windows is searching for a solution but so far I have received no solutions. I can restart but sometimes it does this two or three times before I can complete my project. Any ideas.

Yes. I would have posted this in the forum for your Audacity version and computer platform. So we're going to start by asking you which Audacity, what kind of computer and which Windows?
