A friend and I recorded a half an hour podcast and whne we listened back to it there was a constant beeping sound in the background.

Is this normal and/or unavoidable?

Is it something to do with the way in which we record or the things we use?

is there any way to rectify this easily?

You performed a podcast by speaking live into a microphone and recording it, or you captured it from the internet?

Nothing jumps out at me, so we'll need the whole computer type thing.
