I have a Sherwood digital record player about a month old, bought over the internet, powered by the Audacity programme and have had no trouble recording my old LP's from it so far but yesterday and today it will not record, the recording line stays almost straight instead of going up and down as it did. The orange lines are moving along the top but not the green ones.
I have tried all the drop down menus and seem to get nowhere. Has it given up the ghost or have I done something wrong? Please help.

Have you tried wiggling the connectors. Is this a USB TT - if so try unplugging and replugging the USB, or try a different USB port.
You will need to provide more information about what you are doing and how you are doing it for anyone to really help you.

Thank you - the wiggling was successful. I am so relieved!
