Any recording from the microphone is unusable. My mic isn't good, but it works fine with other programs and worked fine before today.
Any suggestions? I like Audacity, but if I can't record....

Constant feedback
Audacity is driving me nuts. When I first got it, I had no problems with the quality of microphone recordings. Then, out of the blue-without changing any settings- one day I get a large amount of feedback just by clicking record. I took Audacity off my computer and put it back on. Again, everything was perfect. Now, today, again out of the blue- I'm getting feedback. I've never changed any settings. The feedback just appears.

Do you have loudspeakers switched on?
