Recording problem with audacity and others...

Post by nirajrm » Sat Sep 20, 2008 3:32 pm

Hi All,
I am unable to listen the freshly recorded audios. This happens with audacity, skype, yahoo messenger and google talk. Can any body tell me what is the problem? And how to solve that?
I am uploading the screen shot of audacity here.
Thanks and regards,
Niraj

Your recording level is way too loud. You need to go to the Windows Mixer (loudspeaker icon near the system clock), find the record level settings and turn the record level down.

Thanks buddy. I had figutred out the problem and to my surprise it was due to problem in microphone. I have changed it and all seem to be working ok. Thanks a lot again for quick response...
