Audacity Forum

The latency of music I play onto Audacity drives me nuts. It throws my timing all off. Adjusting the latency is next to worthless. How can I listen to the original track I am recording with, without hearing me play my own music during that process? Thanks. rlvitt at yahoo dot com

In the Transport menu, turn off (deselect) "Software Playthrough".
