I've been trying to find the cause of this, but it eludes me. Anything I record, no matter what input is used, or what it is, sounds slightly mushy. If one wasn't concerned about quality, one might not even notice it, but I am, so I'd like to fix this.
If I play back something that someone else recorded, the mushiness is gone. So this slight loss in quality must be happening at the recording stage. I've gone through the settings and they're fine (44k, 128, 32).
Has anyone experienced this and have a solution?
Thanks,
Darrell

Re: Slightly mushy audio
Because of where you posted, we know absolutely nothing about your system of what you're trying to do. Fill in the holes. If I was going to duplicate your system exactly in Los Angeles, what would I need?
